Shopping Haul

02/02/19 Shopping Haul

Today was a great day. I got to go shopping and was able to convince my 16 year old to go with me. Of course, she went with the bribe of new workout clothes! But, none-the-less she agreed to go with me.  We started our shopping trip with a stop at Starbucks and tried their new Cinnamon Shortbread Frappuccino.  Neither one of us was impressed with the drink, but we did love the lemon pound cake.  Anywho, on to what I scored today.

After Starbucks we headed over to Tuesday Morning.  Their craft section is always in disarray, but if you just take your time your bound to find something.  That I did, I even picked up the Memory Keepers Mini Envelope punch board. Score!  I also bought some gold and silver dotted tags, planner stuff, ephemera, background stamp, wood words, Project Life boxes, Tattered Angel spray, paper pads, mini clips, and two containers of mixed sequins (you can never have too many of these).

Then we headed to Academy Sports for some workout gear and $76.00 later we headed on over to Target.  At Target I was only interested in the dollar section, but my daughter wanted to head over to the active wear (Like she didn’t get enough at Academy Sports?) and the electronics section (Sweat Proof Earbuds!! Did you know they make those? I didn’t.).  I was able to pick up some things in the dollar section, but they are always pretty much picked over when I go.  I did find some cute mason jars, paper clips, stir sticks with the word love on them, and some twine with gold.  Also, I picked up some Fantasy Fruit Gum with a Unicorn on the front that I will possibly send in a future swap.

Finally, we headed over to Michaels to see what the fuss was all about.  They didn’t have the $4.00 bags, but they did have 12″ x 12″ paper pads on sale for 70% off.  I also, picked up a photo organizer for $15.00 that I use to store my embellishment supplies, some sequins, a Ty Kiwi key chain for my daughter, and a ton of Valentines stuff, which was 50% off.

Everything on the left was from the $2.00 bin and the small paper pad was 50% off.

Overall, I would call this a successful and fun shopping trip.  Now I am coming down from my shopping high, but must go organize, put away what I bought, and start working on my upcoming swaps.

Thanks for visiting!
